Baby Town Pacifiers
These Baby Town Pacifiers are being recalled because of the following:
- pacifier shield is too small
- ventilation holes are too small
- ventilation holes are not placed to allow insertion of a tool to remove the pacifier when lodged in the mouth
- package fails to display the required warning instructing consumers not to tie a pacifier around a child's neck
About 45,000 of these pacifiers were sold for about $1 at dollar stores from March 2004 through December 2007. No children had been reported injured at the time the recall was made on January 10, 2008.
The pacifiers were made in China and are described by the Consumer Product Safety Commission as "sold in a 4-pack of assorted colors. "BabyTown" and model #39864 are written on the product's packaging."
Return the toy to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
