First Years 3-in-1 Flush and Sounds Potty Seats
This is one of two First Years 3-in-1 Flush and Sounds Potty Seats being recalled because the decorative plaque on the back contains lead paint. About 160,000 of these chairs were sold for about $25 at various stores from April 2006 through Aug. 2007. No children had been reported injured at the time the recall was made on Dec. 6, 2007.
The chair was made in China and is described by the Consumer Product Safety Commission as follows:
- "Each seat has either a yellow chair with a green removable seat and a purple lift out-pot or a blue chair with a white removable seat and green lift out-pot. The words '100 Acre Wood' are molded on the chair back. The plaque inserted into the back of the seat contains molded Winnie the Pooh and Tigger characters."
Stop using the seat and contact RC2 to get a clear plaque that will cover the affected area. After this repair, the seat can be used as a potty seat again.
